This Rust-Oleum® EPOXYSHIELD® Garage Floor Coating Kit applies an epoxy layer in one easy coat and protects against petrol and diesel spills, antifreeze, motor oil, rubber, asphalt, and cracking, for years to come.

Perfect for residential garages, carports, under-house areas and basements, workshops, backyard sheds, laundry rooms, and a wide range of other similar surfaces. Indoor use only.

Epoxyshield® is a user friendly and easy to apply water-based epoxy garage floor coating with an ultimate adhesion and durability. The product has an excellent wear, impact and abrasion resistance like heavy foot and vehicle traffic. Resists chemicals and standing water. Brighten your garage with a clean, glossy, showroom-quality floor.

Features:

  • 2-part water based epoxy
  •  Complete kit including instructions
  •  Resists gasoline, antifreeze, motor oil, salt and hot tire pick-up
  • Walk-on ready: 4 hours | Drive-on ready: 3 days
  • One kit covers 450-500 square feet (approximately a 2.5-car garage)
  • STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO PURCHASE PRIMERS AND APPLYING PRIMERS BEFORE USE

Instructions:

  • Let any new concrete cure for a minimum of 28 days before application.
  • Conduct a moisture test prior to application: tape down a 2m x 2m sheet of plastic and wait for 72 hours. If moisture is present (as water droplets or visible moisture) apply RockSolid Moisture Stop before continuing.
  • Apply when ambient temperature is between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius.
  • Mix parts A and B for 3 minutes, and apply within 1-2 hours of mixing
  • Wait a minimum of 4 hours before allowing foot-traffic; 24 hours is ideal.
  • Wait 3 days before allowing vehicle traffic.
For best results, finish with Premium Clear Coating for ultra-protection and a high-gloss finish.
